Inflation is on the rise, and we haven’t seen this level of potential inflation since back in the 60s and 70s. After increased government spending similar to what we're seeing today, inflation in the late ‘60s grew to 5.5 percent, then to 10 percent through the ‘70s.

America is essentially broke. Politicians aren’t going to be around for long, so they don’t play the long game. They’re only interested in the short term fixes and their political viability. Even after taxing the wealthy (which is a separate issue), the increased revenue will barely put a dent in the deficit. Bottom line: We’re in for a bumpy ride.
