It’s Time to Fire Your Financial Advisor

you’re like a lot of doctors I’ve spoken to in the last few weeks, you are probably frustrated.

 I get it.

You do EVERYTHING by the playbook, and then smack! something comes in and destroys all your best laid plans.

I’ve been there.

My daughter’s health crisis (Leukemia).

The divorce that followed.

The failed practice sale.

Not only that, I was a real estate investor in the housing crash of 2008.

I’ve weathered some tough storms before – and I know you have too.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

Crisis creates opportunity.

When others were nursing their wounds, I DOUBLED my net worth coming out of the 2008 downturn.

I plan to do it again now.

If you are a dentist who thought you were on “the home stretch” before Coronavirus torched your plans – you need a Plan B.

The world has changed. It’s time to step up and own your life.

To come as far as you have come, you’ve likely been doing things by the playbook.

  1. You’ve worked hard.
  2. You’ve saved.
  3. You’ve invested in the typical financial constructs (401k, cash balance plan, portfolio of stocks, bonds, mutual funds – whatever your financial advisor told you to do).

That’s what everybody tells you to do.

In fact, people will likely tell you you’re stupid (or you don’t have a good CPA) if you don’t.

Let me ask you this:

Has that traditional plan given you the financial security that you desire right now?

If you're going to live a life of true freedom, if you really want to have a different life – you need to start doing things differently.

That's not easy to do, because everyone else is following this traditional path. They trudge along, nose-to-the-grindstone for years (decades) and then get smacked in the face when the markets cycle.

Now they’ll scramble for the next 5-7 years to get back to normal again, and repeat the cycle.

This is what the majority is going to do.

Look, they’re not bad people… they can be good friends, relatives, or you may go golfing together on the weekends.

But if you want to achieve a greater degree of financial security and Freedom than the majority – you’re going to need to use a different gameplan.

I reached a freedom number early in my life and was able to step away from my practice and have the security of predictable, sustainable cash flow (income) no matter what the market threw at me.

I didn't do it through the wall street financial markets. I did it through alternatives.

I learned by being boots on the ground (initially), I learned how to build equity in real estate, how to leverage, and get a cash flow run rate that sustained me whether I was working or not.

That’s been my Plan B for over 40 years now.

So if you're frustrated right now, this is your chance, because we have a new opportunity coming in this next market bull run. Market turbulence creates opportunity.

Full disclosure: I’ve been strategically liquidating my real estate assets over the last 3 years because I knew that this day was coming.

Want a simple formula for creating wealth?

Sell in a seller’s market.

Buy in a buyer’s market.

The last 3 years have been a seller’s market. We’re nearing a buyer’s market right now.

To take advantage of it, you’re going to need INSIDER connections. You are NOT going to find these opportunities on Zillow and Craigslist. You must be with people who have done this before, and who are not just playing another guessing game like you find in the financial markets.

I’m sure you have questions about how all of this works.

What does this Plan B look like? How do I get started investing in capital assets? What types of asset classes? How do I get access to the right opportunities? How does it work? How do I do this without losing my shirt or becoming a landlord?

That’s why I’m hosting a small workshop on May 9th, 100% virtually.

I want to answer those questions and share the details of my gameplan to turn this crisis into a significant inflection point.

Join me to get the answers you’re looking for. Don’t wait – this is your opportunity.

PS: If you’re a practitioner who thought you were on the 1-yard line of selling your practice and riding into the sunset before this crisis struck, I implore you to step up. Don't live your life with regrets. You've got to make a change. Now this is the opportunity, not in a year, not in two years, not in three years. You don’t have time to wait that long. You've got to go forward and do things now. Make it happen. It's your life. Don’t sit on the sidelines and watch this opportunity to rebound from this crisis pass you by.
