Beginning with the End in Mind

Do you have an end point for freedom? There are various freedoms, but financial freedom is the first freedom. Your financial freedom is gained by having enough passive income – generated by your investments – to cover your lifestyle overhead expenses.  At Freedom Founders we work backwards to show our members how to acquire capital assets to create that passive income. We look at the end point for each person’s financial future to figure out what that end point is for them. After financial freedom you gain a big one – time freedom. How many people want more time? It’s something that we can’t buy back, once it’s gone, it’s gone! From there we move onto relationship freedom. If you are working with people or clients that you don’t like, then you don’t have true freedom. Once you have financial freedom, you don’t have to take anybody you don’t want to! You can make those choices, and even not work with insurance companies. Freedom of health. How many people have given up their health in order to get to the next level? They’re stressed out and trying to work to make ends meet, or move ahead in life and business. Health is a huge one, if you let your health go, all the other freedoms won’t make any difference. Next is freedom of purpose. I’ve worked with so many great doctors who have put their heads down and worked really hard to become the best clinicians and build good practices. Yet they don’t feel like they are serving their bigger purpose. How can you figure this out if you don’t have the freedom of time and relationship to do it? So once you get to financial freedom, all these other freedoms start to take their place. The key thing I want you to know is that this is the only “end point” I talk about – finding your financial number. Otherwise in life, there shouldn’t be an end point or finish line until God takes you home. That’s your finish line. But if you decide when that when you reach retirement, or your financial goal, that that’s all you’re going to do and then you’re going to give up You’re not going to really live. You’re not going to live your bigger purpose. Don’t set a finish line for retirement or accumulating investment assets so you can “stop”. Because reaching your financial goal is really only just the beginning. To your freedom! – David P.S. Want to get a snapshot of where you’re at on your journey to financial freedom?
