How Long Will It Take To Get To Freedom?

“Can I really reach Freedom in 5-7 years?”

Fair question.

The first step to answer is to define Freedom.

For some, Freedom means lying in the warm sun on a tropical beach… without a care in the world.

Others use Freedom as a synonym for retirement.

For some folks, Freedom means options.

  • To work
  • To give back
  • To create significance

For others, Freedom simply means having more balance, more free time, less stress.

None of those answers are wrong. They’re personalized.

What’s your definition of Freedom?

When you’re clear on what Freedom means for you… you can reverse engineer the timeline to get there.

Here’s how it works:

Start by determining the amount of monthly income you’ll need to sustain your Freedom.

This income should be cash-flow that isn’t dependant on trading your time for dollars.

If you want to work… great! But you don’t have to.

That’s the key: owning (or managing) assets (business assets or real estate… or both) that will replace active income and sustain your lifestyle in “Freedom Mode”.

Next, work back to where you are today.

  • What assets & resources do you have?
  • What does your business look like?
  • What are your liabilities?
  • What is your lifestyle burn rate?

Answers to these questions will enable us to build a custom blueprint.

You can determine how long it will take to get to Freedom based on where you are, and where you want to be.

Some doctors have arrived in less than 2 years.

Usually these are docs that have been in practice for 20 years, who’ve already put their kids through school, etc. They’re already far down the Freedom road.

We've had docs shrink a 10 year timeframe down to three years.

It's very possible.

Granted, if you're fresh out of dental school… you're not going to shrink your timeframe from twenty years to three years… that’s not realistic.

But what if we could take 25-30 years and shrink them down to 10?

Imagine that:

If you do things the right way… you can be free in 10 years.

Life changing.

For most of the docs that come to Freedom Founders, five to seven years… and they’re done.

Free.

Ultimately, your timeline depends on you.

  • Where you are today
  • What your lifestyle needs are in future
  • Most importantly: how committed you are to taking action on the plan.

A mastermind is a powerful framework for commitment.

Are you committed?
