Moving From Wall Street to Main Street

oving your investments from Wall Street to Main Street is something a lot of people think about.
But why don’t they do it?
A certain inertia has to be broken, and it’s not easy. It’s easier to abdicate your financial future, and give it to someone else to take care of – as we’re told to do. But that’s a big gamble.
People forget that what goes up in the stock market comes back down. And it’s the loss of that time, the 6-10 years it takes for the market to even out again, where people lose opportunity. So many people who wanted to quit, retire, or sell their practice to start living their freedom life, had to go back to work because they put everything on Wall Street.
Main Street is what I consider capital assets – real businesses or Real Estate that produces cash flow where you have some level of control. True freedom is getting to be as active or passive on Main Street as you want to be.
To do that, you’ve got to have the wherewithal, mindset, and collaboration with other people in your network. You’ve got to be connected to mastermind groups, peer groups, or advisory groups where you have access to the best people, the right thinking, and the best opportunities.
Wall Street is point-and-click gambling, but it’s an “efficient” marketplace – meaning they can roll with your money, and the individual investors like you are just what they call “marks.”
If you really want to forecast your financial future, you’re going to have to change your game to access the adaptation and opportunities of inefficient markets like Real Estate. I’ve been a Main Street investor for decades and have the network already built-in with Freedom Founders.
