Why do you do what you do?

“David,” other dentists ask me, “why do you do this Freedom Founders thing?”

What they really mean is, “If you did so well with real estate and dentistry, why are you still working?”

Fair question.

It’s true that I don’t need the revenue from the Freedom Founder’s mastermind, which I’m happy to report is a successful business venture because we provide value to our members well in excess of the fees they pay. (Just ask them.)

For me, I do what I do because it’s the most significant way I can spend my time.

I’m deeply passionate about helping my professional practice colleagues break the chains from being slaves to their practices & their financial fears and helping them create freedom in their lives and the lives of their families.

I love the fact that Freedom Founders gives me a platform that allows me to invite and bring some of the best and brightest people in all areas of business, marketing, real estate, and finance, to Dallas four times a year.

I thrive on being around smart people, and this community is my best insurance policy. With the volatility and unknowns in our economy and industry, I want to be surrounded by a Board of Advisors that will provide me insight into how to stand apart from the fallout and find the opportunities that chaos brings.

I also love to be in the middle of all of the real estate deal flow that occurs in Freedom Founders. I love to put deals together and help our members use various buckets of investment capital in the safest, most efficient, effective means possible.

Even though I talk often about having the freedom to retire, I’ll never do it in the typical sense. I plan on remaining significant and relevant until my body or mind is no longer functional. Freedom Founders gives me the platform to do just that. What a gift!

There you have it. That’s why I do what I do.

How about YOU?

To your freedom!

David Phelps

(never retiring… and loving it!)

P.S. When you woke up this morning, how did you feel about facing the day ahead? About facing the long line of days ahead?

I’ll ask again, “Why do you do what you do?”

At Freedom Founders, we ask ourselves questions like this and hold each accountable to our answers.
