Freedom Isn’t Free…How Are YOU Fighting?

Happy 4th of July weekend!

It’s summertime across America.

Many of you are celebrating with family, taking some well-deserved time off, and perhaps traveling over the long weekend.

Our experience in this country for more than 200+ years has been very unique.

Do we take the freedom that we have for granted?

In the past few weeks, I've been struck by this irony…

We live in a country whose foundation was built on the premise of freedom – unalienable rights given to us via our Constitution of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

With all of this going for us…the very foundations for freedom…

Why are so many of us stressed out, frustrated and living lives of quiet desperation?

Here’s what I know – too many of us are living in a “comfort zone” with just enough of the “good life.”

We give up too soon. We could have real freedom if we just take the next step.

“How does one do that?” you ask.

Fight.

…fight for what you are capable of having – less stress, more time off, security and peace of mind for you and your family.

Look, time is not on your side – the years and opportunities to spend time with the people you really care about is limited.

I know…I came within the breadth of a hair of losing my daughter when she suffered severe medical crises…

All of my hard work, all of my education, wisdom…even all the money wouldn’t buy back the time and missed opportunities…

So I made THE DECISION…no more!

No more being chained to a business, a practice, that didn’t allow me to do what I wanted to do, when I wanted to do it and with whom I wanted to do it (MY definition of freedom).

Was it easy? Heck no! I could have fallen back into the false sense of just working for a living, trading time for dollars, multiple times.

But I had a strong “reason why.” And, I surrounded myself with like-minded business entrepreneurs who had already achieved what I wanted or were on the same path.

That’s huge!! Trying to create real freedom by yourself is a mistake, despite your inner rugged individualism.

IMPORTANT: Our founding fathers didn’t break away from the tyranny of England one by one – it was a cause, a mission…and TOGETHER they were willing to step way out of their comfort zone to achieve that freedom.

What about you? What are you willing to do to have real freedom?

Freedom from managed care, government regulation and the commoditization of your practice by corporate dentistry?

If you are committed and know you need the support of a like-minded community of fellow entrepreneurs who have made it or are well on their way, then you should check into the Freedom Founders Mastermind Community – a Board of fellow Advisors made up of doctors and dentists and other wise entrepreneurs who collaborate on a regular basis to find and maintain freedom.

If you’re not happy with where you are, you have only one person to blame. No excuses.

Here’s to your freedom…and a Happy and safe 4th!
